Terms and Conditions for Online Payments
1. Acceptance of Terms
By making an online payment to EduCom IT Pty Ltd ("EduCom IT"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all payments made online, including partial and full payments, for goods and/or services provided by EduCom IT.
2. Payment Methods
Payments may be made using the methods specified on the website. These may include credit or debit cards, bank transfers, or other electronic payment methods. EduCom IT reserves the right to add or remove accepted payment methods at any time without notice.
3. Payment Authorisation
By authorising a payment, you confirm that you are the authorised holder of the payment method used or have obtained permission from the authorised holder to make the payment. EduCom IT is not liable for any unauthorised transactions.
4. Currency
All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Any currency conversion fees or charges imposed by your financial institution are your responsibility.
5. Payment Confirmation
Upon successful processing of your payment, you will receive an electronic confirmation via email. This confirmation will include details of the transaction, including the amount paid and a description of the goods or services purchased.
6. Partial Payments
If you make a partial payment, the balance remaining must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon at the time of purchase. Failure to complete the payment as scheduled may result in the cancellation of the order or services.
7. Completion of Goods and Services
No goods or services will be delivered, performed, or completed until all payments due have been received and verified in full. This includes ensuring that the funds have been successfully transferred to and confirmed by EduCom IT's financial institution.
8. Payment References
When making a payment via the website, it is imperative that you use the correct payment reference as provided by EduCom IT. Failure to do so may result in the funds not being correctly allocated to your balance, and EduCom IT accepts no responsibility for delays or issues arising from incorrect payment references.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds for online payments are subject to EduCom IT's Refund Policy. In general, refunds will only be issued in cases where the goods or services are faulty, not as described, or otherwise covered by Australian Consumer Law. Partial payments may be non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
10. Payment Disputes
If you believe there has been an error in processing your payment, please contact EduCom IT immediately. We will investigate the matter and respond as soon as possible. EduCom IT is not responsible for any delays or losses caused by payment processing errors or disputes.
11. Privacy and Security
EduCom IT takes your privacy and the security of your payment information seriously. All online payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels. Your payment details will not be stored by EduCom IT beyond what is necessary to complete the transaction. See our Privacy Policy for more.
12. Changes to Terms
EduCom IT reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of the online payment services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions
- Purchaser identification. Purchaser of the gift voucher must supply contact information for the purpose of proof of purchase — including full name, address and contact phone number or email address.
- Validity period. Gift vouchers are valid for a 3-year period from the date of issue. Expiry may be extended at the discretion of management. Expiration may be of a different length as indicated on the voucher under the following circumstances: where the gift voucher was provided as part of a promotion, donation, prize or rewards program, or where issued in exchange for goods returned.
- No additional fees. No additional fees or charges are applicable for gift voucher purchases or redemptions.
- Where they can be redeemed. Gift vouchers are redeemable at any store location: EduCom IT Albury, EduCom IT Smeaton Grange, Coffs Computers and Clyde Computers. Vouchers are not redeemable online.
- Change of mind. Gift vouchers are not refundable for change of mind. A refund may be given at the discretion of management under certain circumstances.
- Not redeemable for cash. Gift voucher value, or part thereof, is not redeemable for cash, credit or any other form of compensation.
- What they can buy. Gift vouchers are redeemable for all goods and services, including Ex-Assets, scratch and dent or trade-in stock, Apple repair services and professional services.
- Part-redemption. The total value of the voucher is not required to be redeemed in one transaction. The voucher will be marked down by staff indicating the remaining value. Part-redemption does not extend the original expiration date of the voucher.
- Vendor restrictions. Gift vouchers issued by EduCom IT or associated trading names are not redeemable directly with any of our vendors, partners or distributors.
- Lost or stolen vouchers. EduCom IT Pty Ltd is not responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers. Management may, at their discretion, replace lost or stolen vouchers with proof of purchase.
- Statutory rights. These terms and conditions are in accordance with the laws and regulations of New South Wales, Australia, and do not affect your statutory rights. Your use of this gift voucher is subject to the consumer guarantees and protections provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Service Terms and Conditions
Warranty repairs
- Warranty, as provided by the vendor, only covers replacement of defective parts.
- Warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage (except in the case of AppleCare+).
- Non-hardware faults (software, environmental, etc).
- No-fault-found assessments.
- Data recovery and data loss.
Non-warranty repairs
Once all parts required to complete the repair of the hardware are determined and the repair costs exceed $200.00 inclusive of GST, a quotation will be provided, at which time no further works will be undertaken until written acceptance is given for the repair. Work up to $200.00 may proceed without further acceptance.
Other
- While all reasonable care is taken, we will not be liable for any loss of data or corruption, or other damages resulting from data loss or corruption.
- The company is not responsible for replacement of any accessories booked in with or attached to any unit (screen protectors or covers) unless specifically required to diagnose and complete the repair.
Parts
Parts or products provided for warranty and non-warranty repairs will be new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
Repair times
Normal repair turn-around time is 5 working days, subject to workload and availability of parts and any delay due to response to quotation or direction from client.
Associated costs
- For repairs and assessments, our minimum service fee is $99.00 inclusive of GST.
- Accessories (including iOS devices) incur a minimum service fee of $49.00 inclusive of GST.
- The minimum service fee will apply if quoted repairs are not proceeded with.
- Without prior arrangement, we do not operate account services for service work or accept cheques.

Derelict service repairs
Derelict items will be disposed of after a 90-day period unless a formal request stating the wish for us to retain the item for a longer period is made.
Client information
The requested personal information (name, address, telephone number and email address) is necessary to proceed with the request for service. All parts and products are stored securely on the premises or with Apple in packaging made to reduce damage to your equipment. While all care is taken, the company is not to be held responsible.
If service is requested pursuant to a third-party service obligation, such information will be transferred to the third party for verification and quality purposes, including confirming the service transaction and submitting a customer survey. By running Apple Diagnostics (AST, AST2), EduCom IT Pty Ltd may supply diagnostic data and serial numbers to third parties. By signing the service intake form, you consent to this transfer and the use by the third party for this purpose.
