- Providing end-user details to Apple as Authorised Service Locations to facilitate a repair on an Apple device.
- Facilitating a trade-in of a device as Licensed Second-hand Dealers in accordance with the Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1996.
- Ordering certain product SKUs subject to special conditions or pricing.
- Insurance reporting purposes.
- Acting as the authorised repair on behalf of a third-party vendor.
The kinds of information we may collect and hold may include (but are not limited to): your name and contact details, including email address, IP address, phone number, or postal address; device identifiers; online identifiers; social media handles; identification proof (if required); and payment information (if required, although we do not keep these details). We may also collect information about your qualifications, employment history and employment details if required for employment applications.

How we protect your information
EduCom IT stores your personal information on secure servers and takes all reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorised access or use.
Our internal database is held with our partner, SMB Solutions — experts in Business Cloud Solutions — on off-site secure encrypted servers. Personal information collected online through our website or portals is held securely in cloud servers with WordPress and WooCommerce, which also secure financial transactions made online.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our privacy practices. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on our website. You may also obtain further information regarding compliance with the Privacy Act from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner's website atoaic.gov.au.
