Australian Consumer Law alignment
Our refund and returns policy aligns with consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law. Products we supply include manufacturer guarantees (for example, the Apple Limited Warranty), with optional extended coverage such as AppleCare+ also available. These manufacturer guarantees and optional cover do not replace your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law — they supplement them.
The Australian Consumer Law establishes baseline consumer guarantees for goods and services supplied in Australia. Where these guarantees are not met, available remedies may include repair, replacement, refund, or re-performance of a service.
What you may be entitled to
You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
For a minor failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
General requirements for a remedy
Proof of purchase is required in all cases. Remedies are generally not available where the customer:
- Has changed their mind or simply doesn't like the purchase.
- Damaged the goods through unreasonable use.
- Has found the same item cheaper elsewhere.
- Should have noticed an obvious fault before purchase.
- Received goods marked with disclosed defects (e.g. Ex-Assets, scratch & dent, trade-in stock).
- Insisted on a specific method of service that was not recommended.
- Did not adequately clarify the service requirements at the time of booking.
- Unreasonably relied on the seller's judgement when their own knowledge ought to have been used.
Change of mind returns
Where a return is accepted purely as a change-of-mind matter, restocking fees may apply to cover administrative and shipping costs incurred. No remedy is available without proof of purchase. We do not accept change-of-mind returns on hygiene-sensitive items (including earbuds) or on damaged goods.
